423 Main Bar Grill & Rooftop - Exceptional Burgers and Mexican Cuisine in Rochester

The Oakland University ladies golf league enjoyed a fantastic happy hour party on the rooftop at 423 Main Street! The owner, Jonny, and his staff, including Cat, Michaela, and Courtney were especially accommodating, helpful and kind! The ladies had a great time and we will definitely be back! This was my and my friend's first time here and we had reservations because it was a Saturday night during Christmas season. It's a typical Sports bar restaurant with lots of screens. Very crowded with lots of families and very loud. The food, however, is not typical Sports bar food. Big, creative menu with everything from Mexican to burgers to pasta to steak and lambchops. We started with Southwestern egg rolls. They were typical Southwestern egg rolls. Then I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with beef tenderloin and it was Chef's kiss! My friend had a Caesar salad and the Cajun Fettuccine and enjoyed both. Our server was great and wait time for our food minimal which was surprising for how busy it was! I would definitely eat here again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend! 423 Main has become one of our absolute favorite places to go. My family visits often — sometimes we bring the kids (and they love it), and other times we go for date night. It’s the perfect spot for both family outings and a more relaxed evening. We’ve also hosted multiple occasions there, and every single time the experience has been amazing. The service is consistently outstanding — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You truly feel taken care of from the moment you walk in. The food is always delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, and the drinks are perfectly made every time. We’ve honestly never had a bad experience. 10 out of 10, I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great food and great customer service!! It's a nice family friendly establishment. My favorite appetizer was the ceviche! It was so fresh! I also love their salads. We will definitely be back!

What a great experience. Walking into a great time we did not want to leave. The service was amazing, the Atmosphere was amazing, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. The best food. The owner is a blessing and have a great heart. Come here the food is the best that I tasted. Service was great as well. I will come a million more times over and over again.

First time experience for my friend and I. It was a great one! The bartender was attentive, friendly, & interacted with us! The food was very tasty, only dislike was the bottom of our bread was soggy due to the type of lettuce used for the fish sandwich we got. Was supposed to come with arugula, but we got lettuce

Such a great space, a cool place and an outstanding location, especially during the Holidays. We were able to secure a table near the window and were bright eyed when the lights in downtown Rochester came on. Its beautiful! Server was amazing, food was fantastic and everyone around had smiles. They were quite busy, but did everything they could to make sure those of us walking in were warmly greeted, well taken care of and fed. Salads are great, lamb chops were delicious. Birria tacos were delicious. Even the kids pizza was a 10 out of 10, my granddaughter loved it. There is a cool room with games to play, a spacious bar area and plenty of table for dinner. Cant say enough great things about 423 Main. I will be back many times over. Thanks for a great evening with family!

Excellent place for all sizes of groups. Good food and service. You can’t go wrong if you want to have a dinner for business or pleasure.
